CONNECTION, COMPASSION, HEALING
You will find my approach to be warm, welcoming, and empathetic. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable, supported, and emotionally safe. While a variety of therapeutic approaches can be effective, research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy.
“The psychotherapy relationship makes substantial and consistent contributions to patient outcome independent of specific type of psychological treatment.”
— Norcross & Wampold, 2018
For this reason, building a strong, trusting connection is at the heart of my work with every client.
Once that foundation is established, we will explore the changes you hope to make and the goals that have brought you to therapy. Together, we will examine the important relationships in your life and the experiences that have shaped your sense of self. This may include exploring your childhood, family dynamics, and significant life events that continue to influence your thoughts, emotions, and relationships today.
As we develop a deeper understanding of your history and patterns, we will turn our attention to the challenges you are facing in the present. I take an interactive and collaborative approach to therapy, offering guidance, thoughtful questions, reflection, and validation to help you gain greater self-awareness and insight.
From there, we will work together to identify practical strategies, meaningful shifts, and new ways of relating—to yourself and others—that support lasting growth and change. My goal is to help you move closer to the sense of peace, fulfillment, and connection you are seeking in your life.
